A machine-learning researcher and Lecturer in Data Science and Statistics at the University of Newcastle, Weijia holds a PhD in Computer Science and serves on the program committees of the world's leading AI conferences — NeurIPS, ICML, AAAI, and IJCAI — with multiple Top Reviewer awards. He designs and builds the AI behind RecipeRun: recipe extraction from links and photos, supermarket price comparison, and automatic meal planning.
