About and editorial policy
About RecipeRun
Quick answer: RecipeRun is an independent recipe manager, meal planner and grocery-list app developed and operated by BKZ Lab Pty Ltd in Australia. Our guides are written by the RecipeRun Editorial Team using the app firsthand, clearly identified external sources and reproducible comparison methods.
Who we are
RecipeRun helps people save recipes, organise weekly meals, build grocery lists and, in Australia, compare indicative grocery prices across selected Woolworths, Coles and ALDI stores.
The app and this website are developed and operated by BKZ Lab Pty Ltd (ACN 698 679 051). RecipeRun is available on Google Play and the App Store.
About the RecipeRun Editorial Team
The RecipeRun Editorial Team creates the guides on this website. We write from direct knowledge of the RecipeRun product and clearly disclose when an article discusses or compares our own app.
Our goal is to publish practical material that a reader can verify and use, whether or not they download RecipeRun. We do not invent testimonials, ratings, savings figures or research results.
How we research guides
The evidence required depends on the article:
- Product workflows use current RecipeRun features and original app screenshots.
- App comparisons use official product pages and store listings, plus firsthand checks only where an article explicitly states that testing occurred. We do not present documentation review as hands-on testing.
- Supermarket comparisons record the product, pack size, retailer, selected store or postcode, shopping method and collection time wherever a price is quoted.
- Public-interest guidance prioritises primary sources such as the ACCC, CHOICE and Australian government agencies.
Prices, promotions, product availability, app features and subscription terms can change. A dated comparison is evidence of what was observed under its stated conditions, not a promise about a later checkout or a different household.
Our relationship with RecipeRun
This website exists to explain RecipeRun and help people decide whether it fits their needs. That commercial relationship is stated prominently in comparison articles. Editorial coverage is not presented as independent consumer testing, and we link to independent evidence when it is relevant.
Updates and corrections
We change an article's updated date only after a meaningful review or correction. Evidence-led articles retain their collection date and methodology so older observations are not mistaken for live prices.
If you find an error or an important change, email support@reciperun.com.au. Include the article URL and the detail you believe should be checked. We will review substantiated corrections and update the page where appropriate.
Privacy and limitations
Read the RecipeRun Privacy Policy for information about data handling and the Terms of Service for the limitations that apply to grocery prices, product matching, nutrition estimates and AI-assisted recipe extraction.
